Another way to explore Bali is by learning about Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage.

Seychelles

The pristine island of the Seychelles combines Polynesian beauty with Caribbean seasonings. A large portion of the island is protected against development, which makes it tourist friendly. The Seychelles is comprised of 115 islands spread out over 154,000 square miles off the Indian Ocean, which is just a thousand miles east of Kenya.

There are many things you could do on the island; for starters, you could take the plunge and schedule a scuba diving expedition to explore the island’s diverse marine life. You can also surf or sail away on a boat to discover the footsteps of the Arab traders who first settled here more than 1,200 years ago.

Dubai

Urbanites will enjoy the wonders of Dubai, the post-modern mecca is home to glittering gold shops, state-of-the-art malls, and luxurious hotels. Nestled in the heart of Dubai is the Dubai Creek. Once there you can explore the city’s ancient past and unique Middle Eastern architecture. Enjoy glittering views of the city’s skyline and other activities like golfing, skydiving, and shopping.

A stop by the Burj Khalifa tower is the ultimate bucket list experience; considered one of the world’s tallest buildings, it is home to luxurious suites and fancy restaurants. At the foot of the building is the 30-acre Burj Lake, with the five dancing fountains pumping up 250,000 gallons of water every day to the delight of tourists and locals alike. The fountain projects heavy jets of water into the air and sways to the latest songs. To wrap up the fun, explore Dubai’s gold souk, the souk is open seven days a week and has a cornucopia of dazzling collections to feast your eyes on.
