An important aspect of the luxury lifestyle is of course shopping. When you have lots of money to spend, the world is your oyster, and so it can be both exciting and intimidating to decide where to shop first. So, here is a definitive list of must-see luxury malls for those who enjoy the high life.

  1. The Dubai Mall, Dubai United Arab Emirates

The Dubai Mall is the second largest mall in the world by total land area and plays host to over 100 million visitors every year.

Boasting hundreds of luxury brands and high-end dining experiences, this mall is a must-see for luxury shoppers. In addition to its stores, the mall offers VIP valet service, and partners with 6 adjoining 5-star hotels so shoppers don’t have to travel too far to get their retail fix. Plus, due to its size, the mall also offers an in-mall chauffeur service.

  1. Mall of the Emirates, Dubai United Arab Emirates

The Fashion Dome is the place to be for shoppers who want to experience retail therapy in style. Hosting over 80 luxury brands, shoppers can shop till they drop, taking advantage of their concierge service, where shoppers can drop off their bags to be held until later, or to have purchases delivered to shoppers’ car, home, or hotel.

Of course, the mall also offers world-class food and dining, and when shoppers are finished eating, they can head over to the indoor ski resort or beauty lounge.

  1. Grand Canal Shoppes, Las Vegas, USA

Located at the Venetian Resort and designed to replicate the canals of Venice, shoppers can sail down the canal on a private gondola ride while taking in the over 160 signature stores and retail brands that the Canal has to offer.

In addition to shopping, guests can participate in escape rooms, see a saloon show, or visit the wishing tree. When all of that is done, visitors can dine at one of the many incredible celebrity chef restaurants on the strip.

  1. Yorkdale Mall, Toronto, Canada

Known as the Centre of Style, Yorkdale Mall boasts the largest collection of luxury brands in Canada. When Yorkdale opened its doors in 1964, it was the largest enclosed mall in the world. While it no longer has this title, it started the tradition of international stores opening their first Canadian branches at this mall.

In addition to shopping, Yorkdale offers food from luxury bakeries and high-end restaurants. Plus, it wouldn’t be a luxury shopping excursion if shoppers didn’t take advantage of their valet services and personal stylists.

  1. Villaggio Mall, Doha, Qatar

Another luxury mall with Venetian inspired interiors, Villaggio Mall hosts hundreds of luxury brands on their Via Domo high street. A wing of the mall specifically dedicated to high-end brands and luxury shopping. In order to get to Via Domo, shoppers can either walk, or take a ride on a gondola, on the canal that snakes its way through part of the mall.

The mall also offers valet parking, and shoppers can hire a personal assistant for the day, to help carry shopping bags.

  1. Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan, Italy

The oldest mall on this list, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, named after the first king of Italy, first opened its doors in 1877. The mall houses some of the oldest establishments in Milan and is noted for hosting the flagship Prada store.

Dubbed “The Livingroom of Milan”, the entire mall is ornately decorated, boasting stunning architecture and art in every corner of the mall. In addition to shopping, the mall also routinely hosts fashion weeks, making it a must-see for luxury fashionistas everywhere.

  1. K11 Musea, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

The mall appeals to its VIP clientele by offering the most sought-after brands in Asia and the world, and also offers a rooftop farm and biodiversity museum, The official Museum of Modern Art Design Store, School of Jewellery Arts, and so much more.
