How do introverted mompreneurs find the balance between personal and professional lives?

By truly looking at your skills and talent. Usually, moms tend to carry mom guilt and forget that they have a very unique skill set of their own. They think they’re not doing enough, but being able to nurture a child that keeps coming back to you is big enough. Through my coaching, I introduce a secure attachment style that allows them to transfer their skill set into their career, business, or anything they are doing. Once they see that their skillset is aligning in every department of life, from motherhood to running a business, they’re like okay, it’s time to sit and celebrate and then take on the next task.

How can a positive shift- in mindset impact relationships for working women?

We all come into a relationship with our flaws and expectations. When we get married we say our vows, but we don’t realize the smaller things that are not meeting your needs and keep piling up over time. Effective communication is essential because we cannot read minds. If your partner wants things done a certain way that you don’t, rather than causing an argument, just meet somewhere in between. Similarly in the workplace, meeting about stressful things, checking in on colleagues, and being attentive can make a huge difference. It gives others a boost of confidence that they’re more than just a colleague to you.

How do spirituality and your faith play a role in nurturing relationships?

For me, my faith is seeking God first. I express thankfulness and ask for strength daily. If I lean on God’s understanding and have faith, that combination helps me look at people needing help, guidance, and support.

How can women, on a day-to-day basis, feel more confident in voicing their opinions?

Many women have shared that they tend to be people pleasers, and I am transitioning from being one. Culture and conditioning play a considerable part, and you lose your identity. One of the best things when transitioning out of people-pleasing is knowing how to voice your thoughts and create a boundary. What am I saying yes to a lot?

When is it okay to say no? It’s good to ask questions like, can I get clarity on this? I would say start with your mind because there’s a thought in our mind before it comes out. So, process what is in your mind, and change that Yes to a question when unsure.

How should women balance work and life to remain happy in both?

I have had the opportunity to be surrounded by women who are doing both, including myself, and one of the most important things is time management. Some have a physical checklist, while some put a timer and set a schedule to ensure they are balancing work.

I believe in priority management and also talk about that in my eBook. You don’t have to overwhelm yourself with something. Instead, focus on what’s your priority for today be it family or work, and then go ahead with the day. You will eventually come to a point where you will be able to prioritize both in a day, and that will be a win.
